Political Filers
A filer is any entity registered with the FEC or a state campaign finance agency that reports political spending — candidate committees, party committees, PACs, super PACs, and ballot-measure committees. OpenPolitical tracks 19,644 federal filers (plus tens of thousands more across CA and TX state filings), spanning $5.49B in 2026 disbursements. Each filer profile shows their top vendors, service-category breakdown, and recent activity. The table below shows the top 50 by 2026-cycle disbursements.

Each bubble is one committee. X = total spend in the selected window. Y = vendors. Size = average $/vendor. Color = partisan lean (blue = Democratic, red = Republican, grey = mixed / non-partisan). Lean is derived from the entity's clientele — including super-PAC clients whose party we infer from their Schedule E targets. Drag the slider to change the window. Hover any bubble for details — click for the profile.

Filers are registered campaign-finance entities — committees, PACs, parties, and campaigns — with an FEC committee ID or state regulatory ID. Each filer links to a profile showing their vendors paid, top staffers, and recent activity. Refreshed daily from FEC bulk plus California and Texas state filings.
